Wedding Weekend !
To Our Dearest Friends and Family,
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of you who will be traveling from near and far to spend this special weekend with us. Your presence truly means the world to us, and we can’t wait to celebrate together !
​​Our love story began in early 2020 with a first date at a bar in NYC - Ben was doing Dry January (though Julia didn’t know that until she arrived). Julia, perfectly fine with drinking alone, proceeded to order a few beers, and after that, felt emboldened enough to showcase her best British accent...
​
Fast forward to June 2020: Julia had fostered a cat to keep her company since all her friends had fled the city. As she sat at home night after night with only her (not-very-friendly) foster cat, she thought it might be time to put herself back out there, and couldn’t stop thinking about that great first date she had at the start of the year...
​... She decided to reach out with a text: “Hey! Was thinking about you the other day - how perfectly same-day delivery and micro-warehousing fits into today’s environment. Hope you’re doing well. How have you been?” Ben, initially unsure of who this person was, admired the specificity of the message and decided to investigate further. Once he remembered who it was (and the incredible British accent), he agreed it was time for that second date...

... The rest of the summer was filled with wine in parks, walks around the city, and weekend trips around New England. By the fall, we knew we’d found something truly special, and our lives quickly became intertwined. We discovered a shared love for travel, visiting countries from Colombia to Qatar, and will be adding Morocco to the list on our honeymoon...​
​​...Amongst these travels, the South of France has become a meaningful place for us, as we’ve spent many weeks here over the past few summers. It’s also where Ben proposed in the charming village of Eze. With our families and friends spread out across the globe, we knew we’d have a destination wedding, and it felt only right to return to one of our favorite places to celebrate with all of you....
